Sherrill House places 3rd in Mayor Walsh's 2016 Garden Contest!
Launched as part of Mayor Walsh's citywide beautification initiative and in its 20th year, the contest recognizes gardeners who have landscaped, planted flowers, trees and shrubs, and, in the process, helped beautify Boston’s neighborhoods. For two days judges from the Garden Contest Hall of Fame, Boston Elderly Affairs Commissioner Emily Shea, Boston Parks and Recreation Department staff, and local open space advocates visited the gardens to determine the winners. With hundreds of applications, Sherrill House was honored with 3rd place in the Storefront, Business or Main Streets division – video highlights here!
