Warmest regards to you and your staff. I've been advocating for Sherrill House among all my friends...safe to say that there's no one here who doesn't know how great Sherrill House is.

Dear Mr. Stapleton:
This is to express my deep gratitude for the care and overall experience I've received at the Sherrill House. I am going home with great memories of the Sherrill House staff, staff who are very loyal, dedicated and proud of their jobs. I'll never forget Joceline, Sandra, Melinda, James, Catherine, Tat'yana, Maria and many others who acted as magicians lifting our spirits, often more broken than our bodies.
Before I immigrated to the U.S.A. for years I have worked as a curator...and collaborated with a huge range of extraordinary artists, intellectuals and the like. Yet, never in my life have I encountered such a creative and decent manner to acknowledge a vulnerable human being as you have been doing, Mr. Patrick Stapleton. Nothing feels better than respect which you spread around every morning, by transforming all of us, your sometimes helpless patients into the priveledged persons, starting our day with a breakfast and newspapers distributed by this incredible "newspaper boy"...
Thank you and your faithful staff for everything.

Dear Mr. Stapleton:
As I prepare to leave Sherrill House after 12 days of rehab I want to express my sincere appreciation for the skill and compassion of every member of the staff with whom I had contact. At the risk of leaving someone out, I want to mention by name everyone: Sylvia, Guerdy, Marguerite, Fred, Louisiana, Josephine, Will, Sean and Sherri. Together with night shift nurses and aides who are less visable, all of these professionals are just that: skilled in thier tasks, friendly and helpful. These are the people who matter most in health care and make Sherrill House worthy of praise.
My wife and I are are grateful to all of these great people.
Dr. Tempte and NP Kuriakose were also of great help.
And the daily delivery of the Globe and the NY Times by you is a great touch!

I would like to thank everyone on the 2nd floor on all three shifts - everyone was so wonderful. I can't say enough about them. And I also want to thank physical therapy and occupational therapy staff. They helped make my recovery very successful.
Thank you again.
Hi Mr. Stapleton,
I'm here today for the patient open house to thank them for the great care given to me...the nurses are the best...thank you for the paper with a smile and hello each day. It meant a lot to me.

I've spent lots of time during my first week at home reflecting on my sojourn at Sherrill House. Among the standout memories are the daily gratifying contacts with the CNAs on the second floor - Lesly, Fred, Yolanda - that sped my recovery in so many ways, the helpful advice of Maral and other occupational therapists who coached me back to real life, and especially the immensely thoughtful assistance provided by Jamie in reestablishing my mobility and confidence.
I just wanted to mention some of these lasting impresssions and to let you know how much I appreciate all the splendid care I received from all the staff.
Good Day Gentlemen:
I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to the staff of Sherrill House. I came to your facility in March of this year after undergoing surgery. My plan was to be in and out and to remain in Boston for no more than a week or two.
Unfortunately, my plans were interrupted as my care was extended to four weeks. I had to deal with the stress and pain of my surgery as well as the stress of being in a foreign country alone with no one to assist me with my after care.
Fortunately, I was blessed with the pleasure of having your staff completely assist me in my rehabilitation. I know it is your job to treat patients with the best quality care, as highlighted in your mission statement, but I felt as if your staff went over and beyond their duty to ensure I felt very comfortable. It was this extra mile of generosity that helped me to feel a bit more at ease.
I've never encountered a group of people who show so much genuine care towards a recovering patient in any other medical facility I have been in, especially in the USA. For this I am very grateful. I have been raving to my family and friends about the level of care that I received at your facility and recommended you to anyone who would listen. Words cannot express my gratitude and I encourage your team to continue on and wish you all the best in the future.

I would like to thank you and your staff for making my stay at Sherrill House so warm and special...Most impressive was when you would deliver the newspaper to me in my room...I loved reading the newspapers.
I was especially moved by the superior physical therapy staff you employ. They helped me make a transition from lying in bed to moving around to heal. I am walking with no assistance and will be attending my first yoga class on Monday...
Again, Patrick, thank you and your staff for helping me with my recovery. When I have my ... knee done I am going back to your facility for rehab.

To the Wonderful Women and Men at the Sherrill House:
...I wanted to take the time to thank you all personally for the excellent warm compassionate care I received from each of you...you all work wonderfully as a team to help each other out as I saw time and time again. I felt very safe and that my needs were anticipated (especially with pain management!) I can't thank you enough...my family and friends are all super-impressed with my progress and I sing your praises whenever I can.
I visited my mother at Sherrill House yesterday and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the decorations. My mother and I kept commenting on all the joy such beauty brings. We had tea in the Grande Room and she said, "I'm so happy." That means so much to us both.
Sherrill House was wonderful. We thank everyone who made my post-op days there so comfortable and loving.

Thank you all for your love and care for me during my rehab. for total knee replacement. You were always there for all my needs. I loved my room, the food and the cleanliness everywhere. I have told everyone...about the Sherrill House and also asked...my surgeon to be sure to send his patients to you. He was very happy to know about your wonderful reputation. God bless you all.
She was well taken care of...and we will always have a special place in our hearts for you.

Thank you so much for the care you provided to our mom...The kindness, support and humor you showed us was greatly appreciated. Although Mom was not at the Sherrill House very long we managed to get to know so many of you and you will forever have a special place in our hearts. We would especially like to thank Augusta, Colleen, Carmen and Abu. You all treated us like family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

...I want to let you know how much I appreciated the fine care I received at Sherrill House. The staff was most caring and friendly. I also enjoyed the morning newspaper being delivered, not so much for the news but for the fact that the boss delivered it, which told me how on top of everything you are...Congratulations to you for running such a great health care facility.
